Yes. Sponsors receive current photos and progress updates throughout the school year, typically five to six times per year.

Because our school operates in a high-risk area of Haiti, professional photography is not always possible. Most photos are taken by our local team using mobile phones, allowing us to provide authentic, current updates while prioritizing the safety of our students and staff.

• Annual sponsors: HHH will contact you toward the end of each sponsorship year with the opportunity to renew your student’s sponsorship for the following school year.

• Monthly sponsors: Your sponsorship will automatically continue each month unless you choose to cancel it.

Keep it simple and encouraging! Tell your sponsored student a little about yourself, your family, your interests or your community.

Ask about school, favourite subjects, hobbies, goals and dreams.

Most importantly, let them know that you believe in them and are cheering them on.

To keep things fair among students and make distribution manageable for our team, we recommend letters, cards and photographs rather than individual physical gifts.

If you would like to do something additional for your sponsored student, please contact HHH and our team can let you know what is appropriate and possible.

We love when sponsors want to deepen their connection with HHH and see our work firsthand.

Because the safety and well-being of our students always come first, visits must be coordinated and approved in advance by HHH and our local team. Whether a visit is possible will depend on current conditions in Haiti and the needs and safety of the student and their family.

Yes, whenever possible. We value long-term relationships between sponsors and students and will do our best to allow you to continue supporting the same student from year to year.

Before each new school year, HHH will contact annual sponsors about renewing their sponsorship.

We understand that circumstances change. If you’re unable to continue your sponsorship, please contact HHH so our team can make arrangements to seek continued support for the student.

We simply appreciate knowing as early as possible so we can plan for the student’s upcoming school year.
