Jonie Ngo
Creative Director
Jonie Ngo is a writer, designer, and storyteller whose work explores legacy, identity, and emotion. Her middle name, Laap Yan—a name given by her grandmother—reminds her that every project she creates is rooted in continuity, reflection, and meaning.
A lifelong learner with an entrepreneurial spirit, Jonie runs a creative business specializing in web design, content, and communications. She’s passionate about using creativity to help others share their stories and make meaningful impact.
Jonie became involved with Help Heal Humanity after meeting Serena Bufalino and immediately felt a deep connection to its mission. Growing up in Canada, she recognized the privileges she had access to—especially through education—and understood how foundational it is to opportunity and equality. Although she experienced her own challenges within the Canadian education system, she believes it remains one of society’s greatest tools for empowerment.
Through her involvement with Help Heal Humanity, Jonie aims to contribute her skills in design, storytelling, and communication to help amplify the organization’s message.
She stands proudly by its slogan, “Powered by Service, Inspired by Love,” which reflects her own belief in compassion, purpose, and creating change through meaningful work.
