Spreading Joy and Bringing Dreams to Life Across the Greater Toronto Area

Imagine being alone at Christmas without family or friends. Imagine a single mother with newborn babies or young children, without money for food or housing, trying to figure out how to make a happy Christmas for her family. 

Imagine all of this while living in unfamiliar surroundings.

This is the sad reality of living in a shelter during the holidays. These brave moms are doing the best they can with what they have. The holidays can be challenging for everyone but especially difficult for those in less fortunate circumstances.

They need help to create some good memories during the holiday season – ones of hope and community.

With this in mind, HighView Partners partnered with Help Heal Humanity last holiday season to deliver gifts to newborn babies, children, and single moms living in sheltered accommodations across the Greater Toronto Area.

The shelters we supported in 2023 are:  

  • The Interval House

  • The YWCA (Hamilton, Halton, and Greater Toronto Area)

We were on a mission to make the holidays magical for families in shelters. Our goal was to not only fulfill their children's Christmas wish lists but also to bring joy to these incredible mothers by granting their own wishes. 

We also provided warm-cooked meals to various tent cities across the Greater Toronto Area. 

We knew we could make a difference but we couldn’t do this without the help of our donors and volunteers. Their support was the key to turning this into a reality.  

Together, we put a little extra magic in the lives of others by raising our fundraising target of $5000, which was directed towards:

  • Gifts for 40 families living in shelters 

  • Feeding hundreds of unhoused friends 

In unity, we brighten the holidays for those who need it most. We embody the spirit of compassion and change. Thank you to all of our supporters for being a beacon of light that is much needed in the world today. Together, we are Help Heal Humanity.
